Hi! I'm Deitra Dennis, a registered nurse turned wellness coach and the self-care coach for nurses.
The American Nurses Association research shows that nurses are less healthy than the average American because of high levels of stress.
It is for this reason that I’m very passionate about helping my fellow sister nurses transition from feelings of overwhelm, stress and burnout to a life of total well being. A transformation that I know all to well.
When I was at a point of being "sick and tired of being sick and tired" - because of the demands that come along with being a nurse that left me feeling worn out. I decided to work with a coach to support me in creating life-work harmony by using techniques that have resulted in me living a life of peace.
Now, I'm on a mission to empower my sister nurses to live a life of calm and ease as well.
The stressors don't go away but you are equipped with the tools to respond to the stressors effectively.
